Publication of the MFSA’s Authorisation Charter, Processes and Application Forms
The MFSA launches a revised Authorisation Process Service Charter, Rule 4 under the MFSA Act, a dedicated authorisations webpage, and revised Application Forms for new and existing authorisations. The authorisation process is aligned across sectors into four stages: Intention, Pre-Authorisation, Authorisation, and Post Authorisation, with submissions required via the LH Portal. A centralized Due Diligence Function conducts risk-based assessments for individuals performing key functions. Previous application forms are accepted until 31 August 2021, with mandatory LH Portal submission for them starting 5 July 2021, and only new applications accepted from 1 September 2021.
