RBI cancels Certificate of Registration of 135 NBFCs
The Reserve Bank of India cancels the Certificate of Registration of 135 companies under Section 45-IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934. The cancellation orders were issued between April 06, 2026, and May 26, 2026. The affected entities are prohibited from transacting the business of a Non-Banking Financial Institution as defined in clause (a) of Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.
