The Reserve Bank has published draft guidelines for the ‘on tap’ licensing of Urban Co-operative Banks for stakeholder consultation. Comments from the public and stakeholders are invited until September 05, 2026. Submissions may be made via the ‘Connect 2 Regulate’ section on the Reserve Bank’s website, by email with the specified subject line, or by post to the Chief General Manager in Mumbai.
