RBI to conduct Overnight Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction under LAF on August 12, 2026

The Reserve Bank of India will conduct a Variable Rate Reverse Repo (VRRR) auction on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, with a notified amount of ₹75,000 crore and a tenor of one day. The bidding window is scheduled from 09:30 AM to 10:00 AM, with the date of reversal set for Thursday, August 13, 2026. Operational guidelines for the auction remain unchanged from those specified in Press Release 2019-2020/1947 dated February 13, 2020.
