Ref.: Circular LISOL 1-1127 OPRAC 1-1298: Financing of the Non-Financial Public Sector. Chubut Province Treasury Bill Issuance Program. Amount Increase.
The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic issued Communication “A” 8375 to waive regulatory objections regarding the increase of the Chubut Province Treasury Bill issuance amount by up to $60 billion pesos, raising total circulation to $140 billion. The resolution explicitly prohibits participating financial entities from applying their foreign currency deposit lending capacity to subscribe to these dollar-linked Treasury Bills. Compliance with existing credit risk fragmentation provisions remains mandatory for all intervening financial entities.
