Rule · OJK · 10 May 2017 · 19/POJK.03/2017
The Financial Services Authority establishes three supervisory statuses for Community Credit Banks (BPR) and Sharia Community Financing Banks (BPRS): normal, intensive, and special. Intensive supervision is triggered by specific capital adequacy (KPMM) and cash ratio (CR) thresholds, or composite ratings, requiring action plans, capital reinforcement, and management changes, with a maximum initial duration of one year. Special supervision is imposed when banks face financial difficulties threatening their continuity, mandating immediate capital increases to meet higher KPMM and CR thresholds within three months, prohibiting asset sales without approval, and enforcing stricter reporting and operational restrictions.
