Regulation on Prudential Disclosure and Publication
The Monetary Authority of the Maldives issued this regulation to mandate licensed banks to publicly disclose and publish their financial information in a transparent and timely manner. The document establishes specific requirements for the preparation, submission, and publication of annual audited financial statements, including consolidated and branch-level reports. It further empowers the Authority to impose various corrective measures and sanctions, such as fines, restrictions, or license suspension, for non-compliance with these prudential disclosure obligations.
