Regulation on Technology and Information Systems for the Pension Savings System and the Public Pension System

Supervised institutions, including AFPs, ISSS, and INPEP, must ensure system interoperability, dedicated connectivity with contingency plans, and real-time electronic data exchange with the Superintendence. They are required to maintain individual email addresses for key officials, implement robust security logs, and perform monthly backups of financial and pension data, with copies sent to an authorized vault. All information systems must receive Superintendence approval prior to implementation, and unauthorized access attempts are sanctioned under Article 179 of the Law. This regulation entered into force on November 25, 1997.
