Release of foreign exchange against cost of advertisement for Bangladeshi products in foreign electronic/online media
Authorized Dealers may effect remittances for the cost of advertising Bangladeshi products in foreign electronic and online media, including dynamic, image, video, and interactive formats. This authorization requires Authorized Dealers to verify the genuineness and bonafides of requests through agreements and invoices and to deduct all applicable taxes. Remittances must be processed through an Authorized Dealer branch designated by the remitter, with intimation provided to the Foreign Exchange Operation Department or the relevant area office of Bangladesh Bank.
