Reserve Bank of India (Housing Finance Companies) Second Amendment Directions, 2026
The Reserve Bank of India deletes and substitutes sub-sections A.10 and A.11 of Chapter-X on the Fair Practices Code in the Reserve Bank of India (Housing Finance Companies) Directions, 2025. A new sub-section A.11A is inserted, requiring Housing Finance Companies to comply with paragraphs 101A to 101ZA under Chapter IIIA of the Reserve Bank of India (Non-Banking Financial Companies – Responsible Business Conduct) Directions, 2025. These Amendment Directions come into effect on January 1, 2027.
