The document inserts Paragraph 17(6)A into the Directions to assign a zero percent risk weight to exposures guaranteed under the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS) 5.0, specifically for the portion where the settlement amount is expected to be received within thirty days from the date of invocation. This zero percent risk weight applies to up to 75% of the guaranteed portion, while the remaining exposure retains the risk weight as per extant guidelines. These amendments come into force with immediate effect.
