Resolution 004/98

The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves the transfer of the IDB Loan Program 830/SF-BO to the Bolivian National Financial Corporation (NAFIBO). The transfer includes available resources totaling US$17,868,106.27 and a loan portfolio valued at US$4,288,043.75 as of December 31, 1997, with NAFIBO assuming the corresponding external obligations. The resolution authorizes the use of reserves established by Resolution 174/97 to cover losses generated by the program and to absorb exchange rate differences arising from the portfolio transfer. Additionally, the Central Bank retains administration of the non-performing loan portfolio, transferring recoveries to the General Treasury, while authorizing the President to sign the subsidiary transfer agreement with the Ministry of Finance and NAFIBO.
