2005-01-27 | Resolución 021/2005Added · Updated
The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves the new Public Sector Credit Regulations, which establish the specific conditions, procedures, and financial terms for granting public credit to the General Treasury of the Nation. The regulations define requirements for credits related to public calamities or internal/international unrest, as well as for temporary liquidity needs, including mandatory reports from the Monetary Operations Management, Legal Affairs Management, and Economic Policy Advisory. Credits for temporary liquidity are capped at a maximum term of 12 months and require approval by at least two-thirds of the Board members present. This resolution repeals previous Board Resolutions 160/97 and 121/2001 and enters into force on February 1, 2005.
