The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia authorizes insurance companies to invest up to 10% of their investment resources in foreign securities during 1999. This limit is set in accordance with Article 35 of Law No. 1883, which permits a maximum of 50% of investment resources for such purposes. The decision must be communicated to CONFIP to establish respective limits within this maximum. The Presidency and General Management are responsible for executing and ensuring compliance with this resolution.
