The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia authorizes the purchase of a loan portfolio belonging to Edward Derksen Giesbrecht from Banco de La Paz S.A. for up to $798,738.00 USD to facilitate the merger by absorption of Banco de La Paz S.A. into Banco de Crédito de Bolivia S.A. The Central Bank is further authorized to deliver this portfolio in administration to a Financial Entity (EFA) and must document the transaction through an express contract.
