The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia authorizes the write-off of 'DIM Receivable Accounts' up to $4,026,816.14 against the provision established in 1999 for losses from the Irregular Commercial Deposit portfolio. This action is permitted under the six-year provision schedule approved by Resolution 114/99 and does not constitute debt forgiveness or extinguishment of the Central Bank's rights to pursue legal recovery. The Legal Affairs and Financial Entities Management departments are instructed to monitor the administration mandate with Banco Mercantil S.A. to ensure timely legal actions for debt recovery.
