The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia approves a concessional extraordinary credit of Bs230,017,634 to the National Electricity Company (ENDE) for the 230 kV Chaco-Tarija Transmission Line Project. The loan carries a 30-year term with a five-year principal grace period, an annual interest rate of 1.40%, and a disbursement deadline of March 31, 2014. The Central Bank rejects ENDE's proposed collateral and requires the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance to issue non-negotiable Treasury Bonds to guarantee the obligation.
