The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia grants the General Treasury of the Nation a temporary liquidity credit of US$ 2,208,000 to finance unprogrammed and unavoidable public sector expenses. The loan carries a 7.13% interest rate, a 90-day term renewable with Board approval, and is secured by Treasury Bills discounted at face value. The Central Bank President is authorized to sign the contract, and automatic redemption of the guarantee is mandated via debit from the Treasury's accounts upon maturity.
