The Board of Lietuvos Bankas amends the Financial Market Supervision Policy to define its three-pillar supervision framework covering prudential supervision, financial services oversight, and anti-money laundering/terrorist financing prevention. The resolution establishes specific supervisory principles, including risk-based supervision, proportionality, and the application of sanctions as an ultima ratio measure. It repeals Resolution No 224 of 17 December 1998 and Resolution No 03-354 of 30 December 2014. This Resolution enters into force on 1 January 2025.
