Rule · BCB · 17 Dec 1998 · Resolução CMN 2575
Exporters may finance goods, services, and software via PROEX through title negotiation or government contracts, provided they are not delinquent with social security, severance, or federal tax authorities. Financing requires international currency, market-compatible interest rates, and specific guarantees like documentary credits or insurance. Banco do Brasil S.A. acts as the financial agent, receiving requests and managing monitoring. This resolution repeals previous 1995 and 1997 rules and takes effect upon publication.
