RESOLUTION NO. 3613

Amends Article 3 of Resolution No. 3,524, of December 20, 2007, to extend the period for maintaining the normal status of operations under the Bahia Cocoa Crop Recovery Program.

THE CENTRAL BANK OF BRAZIL, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, makes public that the MONETARY COUNCIL, in a session held on September 30, 2008, considering the provisions of Article 4, item VI, of the aforementioned law, and Articles 4 and 14 of Law No. 4,829, of November 5, 1965,

HAS RESOLVED:

Article 1. Article 3 of Resolution No. 3,524, of December 20, 2007, shall enter into force with the following wording:

"Article 3. Operations may be maintained in a normal status until December 30, 2008, without prejudice to the observance of the provisions of Resolution No. 2,682, of December 21, 1999, regarding the classification of operations."

(Art. 3. This resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.

Article 3. Article 2 of Resolution No. 3,583, of July 1, 2008, is hereby revoked.
