Resolution CMN No. 4044 — Amends conditions for granting agroindustrial credit for sugarcane industrialization in the Amazon and Pantanal Biomes and the Upper Paraguay River Basin

RESOLUTION NO. 4044

Amends conditions for the granting of agroindustrial credit destined for the industrialization of sugarcane in the Amazon and Pantanal Biomes and the Upper Paraguay River Basin, among other areas.

The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595 of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in a session held on December 15, 2011, considering the provisions of Article 4, item VI, of Law No. 4,595 of 1964, and Article 3 of Decree No. 6,961 of September 17, 2009,

RESOLVES:

Art. 1. Article 2 of Resolution No. 3,814 of November 26, 2009, shall be effective with the following wording:

"Art. 2. ..............................................

I - ....................................................

II - the financing of projects for the establishment or expansion of industrial units, provided that such projects have been licensed by the responsible environmental authority by October 28, 2009." (NR)

Art. 2. This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
