RESOLUTION CMN NO. 5,341, OF SEPTEMBER 14, 2026
Amends Resolution CMN No. 5,304, of May 20, 2026, due to the conversion of Provisional Measure No. 1,366, of June 12, 2026, into Law No. 15,503, of September 14, 2026, which provides for the financing lines previously authorized by Provisional Measure No. 1,359, of May 19, 2026, destined for the acquisition of new motor vehicles by private individual passenger paid transport professionals, taxi drivers, and taxi driver cooperatives.
The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Art. 9 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in an extraordinary session held on September 14, 2026, considering the provisions of Art. 4, caput, item VI, of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, and based on Law No. 15,503, of September 14, 2026,
R E S O L V E D:
Art. 1 The summary of Resolution CMN No. 5,304, of May 20, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on May 21, 2026, shall be effective with the following changes:
"Establishes the conditions, financial charges, deadlines, and other regulatory norms applicable to the financing lines for the acquisition of the items referred to in Art. 6 of Law No. 15,503, of September 14, 2026." (NR)
Art. 2 Resolution CMN No. 5,304, of May 20, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on May 21, 2026, shall be effective with the following changes:
"Art. 1 This Resolution establishes the definitions, financial charges, conditions, and other regulatory norms applicable to the reimbursable financing lines for private individual passenger paid transport professionals, taxi drivers, and taxi driver cooperatives, for the acquisition of new motor vehicles that meet environmental, social, or economic sustainability criteria, as referred to in Art. 6 of Law No. 15,503, of September 14, 2026.
Sole Paragraph. The financings referred to in this Resolution must comply with the provisions set forth in Arts. 6, §§ 3 and 10, of Law No. 15,503, of September 14, 2026." (NR)

II - financing: credit operations for the acquisition of new motor vehicles that meet environmental, social, or economic sustainability criteria, insurance of the asset and borrower's insurance, when contracted together with said asset, as well as safety items to meet the demands of female passenger transport professionals, in addition to Charge for Granting Guarantee – ECG, provided for in Art. 6, § 5, of Law No. 14,042, of August 19, 2020, when the credit operation has a guarantee grant from the Emergency Program for Access to Credit in the guarantee modality – Peac-FGI, as well as for the financing of costs related to the constitution, registration, and recording of fiduciary alienation, including notary fees, in accordance with the provisions of Art. 6, § 4, of Law No. 15,503, of September 14, 2026, carried out exclusively indirectly, through financial institutions authorized by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development – BNDES."
