Rule · BCB · 3 Jul 2024 · Resolução CMN 5152
Financial institutions granting working capital credits to rural producers enrolled in Pronamp or other programs must apply a 0.5 percentage point interest rate reduction between January 2, 2025, and June 30, 2025, provided the credit supports certified organic, PI Brasil-Mapa, BPA-Mapa, or RenovAgro activities. Institutions must verify valid certification and specific data, including CAR registration and program details, on the AgroBrasil + Sustentável platform, while ensuring the borrower’s working capital aligns with prior RenovAgro investment areas. The resolution excludes certain operations from this reduction and mandates that certifying bodies be legally constituted and listed in interministerial orders. This rule replaces prior provisions in the Rural Credit Manual, entering into force on January 2, 2025.
