Resolution JPRM-2022-019-M: Reforming the Standard Regulating Auxiliary Payment Systems
The Monetary Policy and Regulation Board of Ecuador issued Resolution JPRM-2022-019-M to amend the transitional provisions of the regulation governing auxiliary payment systems. The resolution extends the deadline for the Central Bank of Ecuador to reclassify service categories for authorized systems from three to seven months. Additionally, it mandates that the Central Bank report on its compliance with this transitional provision to the Board.
