The National Banking and Securities Commission amends Accounting Criteria A-2 and D-4 of the General Provisions applicable to Brokerage Houses to require the use of the daily closing exchange rate published by the Bank of Mexico for currency translation, replacing the previous fixed exchange rate. This change aligns financial reporting with treasury operations by addressing discrepancies between the fixed rate and the closing rate used for daily operations. The resolution enters into force on December 15, 2021.
