The National Banking and Securities Commission amends Articles 91 Bis, 99 Bis, and 99 Bis 2 of the General Provisions applicable to credit institutions to introduce risk adjustment factors for loans granted to women. These amendments reduce the Probability of Default and Loss Severity parameters for female borrowers, thereby lowering the preventive reserves banks must hold for non-revolving consumer and mortgage credit. The changes apply exclusively to loans originated after the resolution's entry into force.
