Resolution modifying the general provisions applicable to development agencies and development entities
This resolution amends Articles 1, 16, 19, 150, 151, 152, 155, 156, 163, 166, 171, 304, 306, 310, and 338, and repeals Articles 1 (fraction XXIV), 162 (fraction II), 163 (fractions VI(d) and VI(f)), and Chapter IV (Articles 312-330) of the General Provisions applicable to development agencies and entities. The amendments require audit committee members to be selected based on professional capacity and expertise in accounting, auditing, and internal control, and mandate that they perform their duties transparently, independently, and free from conflicts of interest. The repeal of Chapter IV removes specific rules on independent external auditors, which are now governed by separate regulations for entities supervised by the CNBV. The resolution enters into force on August 1, 2018.
