The resolution amends Article 5, fraction VIII of the General Provisions for obtaining the technical opinion for exchange centers, money transmitters, and unregulated multiple-object financial companies. It requires that for the renewal of the technical opinion, the legal representative must submit a sworn statement confirming that the exchange center or money transmitter is currently in operation, along with supporting documentation. This measure ensures that only operating entities renew their registration, as failure to conduct authorized operations is grounds for revocation. The resolution entered into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette on June 27, 2017.
