RESOLUTION No. 002328 ------------------- Assigns competence to the Central Bank of Brazil to decide on the non-application of the fines dealt with in Resolution No. 2,194, of 31.08.95, and on the requests for reconsideration resulting from their application. THE CENTRAL BANK OF BRAZIL, in the form of art. 9 of Law No. 4,595, of 31.12.64, makes public that the NATIONAL MONETARY COUNCIL, in a session held on 30.10.96, having in view the provisions of art. 67, paragraph 2, of Law No. 9,069, of 29.06.95, R E S O L V E D: Art. 1 Assign competence to the Central Bank of Brazil to issue norms regarding the non-application of the fines dealt with in Resolution No. 2,194, of 31.08.95, as well as to decide on the corresponding requests for reconsideration. Art. 2 In the exercise of this delegation, the Central Bank of Brazil must establish the conditions under which non-application or reconsideration may occur, taking into account, among other things, the nature, magnitude and significance of the infraction committed vis-à-vis the objectives for which the information is intended.
