Resolution of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Approving the Regulation on Accounting Policy and Financial Reporting of Banks
The Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved the Regulation on the Accounting Policy and Financial Reporting of Banks, establishing requirements for developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures in commercial banks. The Regulation mandates compliance with the Law "On Accounting" and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), defining specific responsibilities for the Bank Council, Bank Management, the Accounting Department, and Internal Audit. It also includes an Appendix listing normative documents covering balance sheet reports, profit and loss statements, and disclosure requirements, with the resolution entering into force on January 1, 2004.
