Cash money located in the FKO, in accordance with the requirements for processing, formation and packaging of the national currency, is stored in the vault/safe room of the FKO.
Cashiers are obliged to sort the banknotes accepted by them into the bank's cash desk by denomination, and then into fit for circulation, worn and defective.
Sorted by denomination, fit and worn banknotes are formed and packaged by the cashier separately.
Cash money received at the end of the working day in unsorted form must be stored separately from sorted money in a bag with an attached inventory of monetary funds, indicating the denominations. The bag must be sealed by the cashier who packed the cash money. A label is attached to the bag indicating the date, the seal number and the details of the cashier. At the same time, the internal normative documents of the bank must specify the established time limit within which the cashier is obliged to sort the cash money received at the end of the working day.
Every 100 sheets of sorted banknotes of the same denomination are formed into straps with the reverse side with the series and number up, so that the white field is on the right side, and are banded crosswise with a standard band or a ring transverse band, respectively. The use of rubber bands for banding banknotes is strictly prohibited. On the bands of straps of worn banknotes, a stamp with the word "Worn" is placed.
Standard bands for packaging banknotes must have the following details:
name of the bank institution;
personal stamp (code) of the cashier who performed the counting, sorting and packaging of banknotes.
Every 10 straps (1 strap – 100 sheets) of cash money intended for delivery to the National Bank, as well as for conducting operations for the exchange of assets between banks, are formed into a bundle (1000 sheets in one bundle of the same denomination), which is provided with a top label of the established sample made of cardboard, with the logo of the bank institution applied and packed with twine crosswise or in a vacuum polyethylene bag.
Cash money in bundles/straps intended for the operational cash desk/delivery for safekeeping, with an inventory of monetary funds, is packed in bags with a label attached, where the seal number, packaging date, details and signature of the cashier are indicated. The bag must be sealed by the cashier who packed the cash money.
Coins fit for circulation are packaged by denomination and packed by cash officers into bags without external seams and damage. The neck of each packed bag is tightly tied with twine without knots and tears. The ends of the twine are tied with a blind knot with the application of a seal and label. If a bag-sewing machine is available, the bags are sewn together with the label in a corresponding manner. On the top label of the banknote bundle and on the label of the bag of coins, regardless of the method of packaging, the following are placed:
1) a stamp with the name of the bank or code number;
2) denomination of banknotes/coins;
3) amount of banknotes/coins;
4) quantity of banknotes/coins;
5) packaging date;
6) personal stamp or code of the cash officer;
7) signature of the cash officer;
8) a stamp with the inscription "defective" on the label of the bag with defective coins and a stamp "worn" on the label of the bundle of worn money;
9) issue number.".
