On Amending the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank

of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Approval of the Rules for Making Payments and Transfers

Using Two-Dimensional Barcode Symbols (QR Code)"

of 11 December 2019 No. 2019-П-14/62-5-(ПС)

In accordance with Articles 5, 9 and 64 of the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic", the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic resolves:

• 1. To introduce the following amendment to the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Approval of the Rules for Making Payments and Transfers Using Two-Dimensional Barcode Symbols (QR Code)" of 11 December 2019 No. 2019-П-14/62-5-(ПС):

in the Rules for Making Payments and Transfers Using Two-Dimensional Barcode Symbols (QR Code), approved by the above-mentioned Resolution:

the third paragraph of item 12, after the words "not less than 2 (two) years", shall be supplemented with a sentence of the following content:

". This requirement shall not apply to commercial banks".

• 2. This Resolution shall enter into force upon the expiry of 15 (fifteen) days from the day of its official publication.

• 3. The Legal Department shall:

  • from the day of receipt of the relevant documents, within 3 (three) working days, publish this Resolution on the official website of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic;

  • after official publication, send this Resolution to the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic for inclusion in the State Register of Normative Legal Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic.

• 4. The "Secretariat of the Board" Division shall, within 3 (three) working days from the day of publication of this Resolution, bring it to the attention of the Payment Systems Department, the Banking Supervision Department, the Legal Department, the regional departments and the Representative Office of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken Oblast.

• 5. The Payment Systems Department shall, after official publication, within 3 (three) working days, bring this Resolution to the attention of the Legal Entity Association "Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan", commercial banks of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Legal Entity Association "Association of Payment System Operators KG", payment organizations and payment system operators.

• 6. Control over the execution of this Resolution shall be entrusted to the member of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic supervising the Payment Systems Department.
