RESOLUTION

of February 24, 2010 No. 3/8

On Amendments to Resolution No. 18/3 of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 21, 2004 "On Approval of the New Edition of the Regulation 'On Asset Classification and Corresponding Provisions to Cover Potential Losses and Shortfalls', registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on August 23, 2004, Registration No. 95-04"

In accordance with Articles 7 and 43 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic", the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic

RESOLVES:

1. Make amendments and additions to Resolution No. 18/3 of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 21, 2004 "On Approval of the New Edition of the Regulation 'On Asset Classification and Corresponding Provisions to Cover Potential Losses and Shortfalls', registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on August 23, 2004, Registration No. 95-04" as per the Appendix to this Resolution.

2. This Resolution shall enter into force upon the expiration of one month after its official publication.

3. After official publication, the Legal Department shall submit this Resolution to the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic for inclusion in the State Register of Regulatory Legal Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic.

4. The Department of Supervision and Licensing Methodology shall bring this Resolution to the attention of commercial banks.

5. Control over the execution of this Resolution shall be entrusted to the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, K.K. Bokontaev.

AMENDMENTS AND ADDITIONS to Resolution No. 18/3 of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 21, 2004 "On Approval of the New Edition of the Regulation 'On Asset Classification and Corresponding Provisions to Cover Potential Losses and Shortfalls', registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on August 23, 2004, Registration No. 95-04"

Make the following amendments and additions to the Regulation "On Asset Classification and Corresponding Provisions to Cover Potential Losses and Shortfalls", approved by Resolution No. 18/3 of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic dated July 21, 2004, registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on August 23, 2004, Registration No. 95-04:

1. Supplement paragraph 4.1.1 with a fourth paragraph as follows:

"- other securities included in the listings of stock exchanges of the Kyrgyz Republic under the highest and next-highest listing categories in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter referred to as 'other securities').";

• in subsections 1), 3), and 4) of paragraph 4.1.1, replace the words "cash or government bonds" in various cases with the words "cash, government bonds, and other securities" in the corresponding cases.

2. Supplement paragraph 10.5 with a paragraph as follows:

"Other securities included in the listings of stock exchanges of the Kyrgyz Republic under the highest and next-highest listing categories shall not be classified."
