RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF THE NATIONAL BANK

OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

On Amendments and Additions to

Certain Regulatory Documents of the NBKR

(In the edition of the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 5/7 of March 2, 2006)

Having considered the attached amendments and additions to certain regulatory documents of the NBKR, as well as taking into account the current situation, The Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic resolves:

1. Approve the attached amendments and additions to the Rules for Regulating Banking Activities and the Regulation "On the Procedure for Establishing Banks and Features of Their Activities in the Territory of the Kyrgyz Republic", approved by resolutions of the Board of the NBKR No. 14/1 and 19/2 dated July 8, 1997 and August 12, 1998, respectively.

2. Supplement paragraph 2 of the Resolution of the Board dated August 12, 1998 No. 19/2 with a new paragraph of the following content:

• The temporary procedure for verifying the legality of the origin of funds deposited to form the charter capital of a new commercial bank, approved by the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 30/4 of September 13, 1996.

3. Recognize as invalid paragraph IV of the appendix to the Resolution of the Board of the NBKR dated December 29, 1998 No. 36/7.

4. Bring this resolution into force from February 1, 1998, except for amendments and additions to the Regulation "On the Procedure for Establishing Banks and Features of Their Activities in the Territory of the Kyrgyz Republic", which are brought into force from the moment of state registration in the Ministry of Justice.

5. The Banking Supervision Department, jointly with the Legal Department, to submit for state registration to the Ministry of Justice the amendments and additions to the Regulation "On the Procedure for Establishing Banks and Features of Their Activities in the Territory of the Kyrgyz Republic".

6. The Banking Supervision Department to bring this resolution to the attention of the regional Departments of the NBKR, as well as commercial banks and RSK, in the part concerning their activities.

7. Entrust control over the implementation of this resolution to M. Taranchieva - Deputy Chairman of the NBKR.

Regulatory Documents of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic

(In the edition of the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 5/7 of March 2, 2006)

I. Rules for Regulating Banking Activities in the Kyrgyz Republic, approved
by the Resolution of the Board of the NBKR dated July 8, 1997 No. 14/1.

1. Supplement paragraph 2 with a paragraph of the following content:

"... Banks may establish their own internal values for these indicators, without violating the values established by the regulatory acts of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic".
