All property, regardless of its location, is subject to inventory, as well as property not belonging to the organization but listed in accounting (held on responsible storage, leased under a contract, received for processing, and accepted on commission), as well as property not accounted for for any reason, and all types of liabilities.
Depending on the degree of coverage of assets and liabilities by the check, full, partial, and selective inventory are distinguished.
