Resolution Reforming Article 1 and Annex 1 of the Standard on Determining the Risk Level of Institutions in the Deposit Guarantee System
The Superintendence of Banks and Other Financial Institutions issued Resolution No. CD-SIBOIF-1053-2-ABRI24-2018 to amend Article 1 and Annex 1 of the Standard on the Determination of the Risk Level of Institutions in the Deposit Guarantee System. The amendment updates the definition of rating agencies to include those registered in the Superintendence's Registry and revises the equivalence table linking specific long-term issuer ratings from agencies like Fitch, Moody's, and Standard & Poor's to four risk categories. The Superintendent is authorized to update this table when new authorized companies are registered or rating nomenclatures change. This standard entered into force upon its notification on April 24, 2018.
