Resolution SBS No. 1560-2022: Amending Title VI to Update the Methodology for Calculating SPP Profitability
The Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and Private Pension Fund Administrators (SBS) amends Title VI of the Compendium of Regulatory Supervisory Standards to update the methodology for calculating the profitability of Private Pension Fund Administrators (AFPs). The resolution replaces previous calculation methods with new formulas for nominal and real annualized profitability, average nominal annualized profitability, and risk-adjusted profitability, while defining specific business days for quota values. These changes take effect on January 1, 2023, and apply to all AFPs managing pension funds in Peru.
