Resolution SBS No. 2570-2021: Substitute Article Three of Resolution SBS No. 480-2019 Approving the General Regulation of Savings and Credit Cooperatives Not Authorized to Capture Public Funds
Resolution SBS No. 2570-2021 extends the compliance deadline for Savings and Credit Cooperatives (Coopac) to December 31, 2023, for adherence to exposure limits, minimum liquidity ratios, treatment of adjudicated assets, investment management, risk governance regulations, and capital contribution adjustments. This extension addresses economic impacts from the national emergency declared due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The regulation supersedes previous resolutions governing these cooperatives and takes effect the day after its publication in the Official Gazette El Peruano.
