Rule · SBS · 16 Aug 2017 · Resolución SBS 3232-2017
The Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and Private Pension Fund Administrators incorporates a new section 3.10 into the Rheumatology chapter of the MECGI to establish specific criteria and procedures for evaluating impairment due to ankylosing spondylitis, utilizing standardized questionnaires (ASDAS, BASFI, BASMI-3) and checklists for personal, clinical-therapeutic, labor, and social aspects. The resolution also modifies section 3.9 regarding rheumatoid arthritis by updating the personal aspects evaluation parameters, specifically redefining the subsidy period reference in the labor situation scale. These amendments become effective on August 21, 2017, and apply to the medical committees of AFPs and the Superintendency.
