Rule · SBS · 28 Dec 2020 · Resolución SBS 3276-2020
This resolution amends the Final and Transitory Forty-Eighth Provision of Title VII of the Compendium of Regulatory Supervision Norms of the Private Pension Fund Administration System to introduce flexibility in the SISCO V tender process. It suspends the application of Article 258(d) regarding unawarded fractions, allowing insurance companies that won the SISCO V tender and administered fractions under SISCO IV to be awarded any remaining fractions proportionally based on their previous awards and premium rates. This measure applies to the Private Pension Fund System (SPP) to ensure coverage continuity and solvency amid COVID-19 impacts. The adjustment guarantees adequate protection for affiliates exposed to disability, survivorship, and funeral expense risks.
