Revised Guidelines on the management of concentration risk under the supervisory review process

Institutions must implement concentration risk management frameworks by 31 December 2010, addressing identification, measurement, and mitigation of intra- and inter-risk concentrations. They must establish group-wide limit structures, integrate risk management into ICAAP, and ensure robust reporting and escalation procedures for limit breaches. CEBS expects members to transpose these guidelines into national supervisory manuals by the same deadline.
