Bangladesh Bank replaces the previous Operations Manual with a revised version for the COVID-19 Emergency and Crisis Response Facility Project, effective upon issuance. The manual establishes that at least 70 percent of the USD 300 million loan fund must be allocated to Cottage, Micro and Small Sized Enterprises (CMSEs), with no more than 30 percent to medium enterprises. It further mandates that total allocation for manufacturing and service sectors must be at least 65 percent, while trading sector allocation must not exceed 35 percent. Additionally, the maximum amount of refinancing loan to State-Owned Banks is capped at 10 percent.
