Revocation of Authorization for Mercantil, C.A., Banco Universal and Mercantil Commercebank, National Association Joint Representation Office in Mexico
The National Banking and Securities Commission revokes the authorization for the establishment in Mexico of the joint representation office of Mercantil, C.A., Banco Universal and Mercantil Commercebank, National Association, following the entity's definitive closure. This decision is based on the request submitted by the legal representative on April 4, 2017, and was approved unanimously by the Board of Directors on May 29, 2017, in accordance with the Rules for Representation Offices of Foreign Financial Entities.
