The Royal Decree establishes the obligation for credit institutions, investment firms, and management companies of collective investment undertakings to prepare consolidated accounts and a consolidated management report when they control one or more subsidiaries. It defines the scope of application, exemptions for negligible subsidiaries, and the consolidation perimeter, while mandating the inclusion of specific geographic and financial data in the notes to the consolidated accounts. The decree applies the provisions of the Companies Code and relevant European regulations to the preparation, control, and publication of these consolidated financial statements.
