SBS Resolution No. 2721-2024: Modifies the Regulation for the Authorization of Companies and Representatives of the Financial and Insurance Systems, and the Single Text of Administrative Procedures – TUPA of the SBS
This resolution modifies the Regulation for the Authorization of Companies and Representatives of the Financial and Insurance Systems, approved by SBS Resolution No. 211-2021, and Procedure No. 1 of the SBS's Single Text of Administrative Procedures (TUPA). It simplifies evaluation criteria and requirements for the consolidated supervision of Credit Companies. Specifically, Credit Companies are no longer required to inform their original supervisor about receiving a consolidated supervision questionnaire from the Superintendency, and they are exempted from providing information on the impact of their constitution on consolidated groups, capital requirements, and effective capital calculation. The resolution will take effect the day after its publication in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”.
