Rule · SBS · 8 Jul 2015 · Resolución SBS 4008-2015
Insurance companies must constitute impairment provisions when premium payment breaches extend 60 days or more, and provide 100% for premiums unpaid after policy validity ends. For bancassurance and marketer mass insurance, unpaid premiums aged 75 days or more require a minimum 50% coefficient, and those aged 105 days or more require full provisioning. State Entities' premiums are provisioned at 100% once policy validity ends, and products with final premiums determined post-validity are provisioned at 100% from the day after the collection document's payment term expires. Effective for August 2015 financial statements, replacing SBS Resolution No. 3198-2013.
