SDAD Circular Letter No. 12: Additional Economic Sector Code/ID for Reporting Government Deposits through RIT
Scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh must use newly generated Economic Sector Code/IDs to report fully disaggregated government deposit data through the Regulatory Information Template (RIT). This requirement applies to deposits held by government institutions, autonomous bodies, and other public sector entities listed in Annexure A. Banks are obligated to submit these monthly statements by the 10th of the following month, with the first submission due for July 2026. The June 2026 statement remains subject to previous reporting instructions.
