The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka issued a directive granting listed companies a one-month extension to submit financial statements due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This concession applies to annual reports for the year ended 31 December 2020 and interim statements for entities with a 31 March 2021 financial year end, which were originally due by 31 May 2021. The Colombo Stock Exchange was directed to immediately inform all listed companies of this effective date.
