The document amends specific points in Circular Letter No. 6/20/DPM to update interest rate margins for deposits and interbank money market instruments under government guarantee. For Rupiah deposits, the margin is set by subtracting or adding specific basis points to the SBI weighted average discount rate depending on the term. For US Dollar third-party deposits, the margin is set at 3 basis points above the average interest rate for time deposits in US Dollars at JIBOR member banks. Maximum PUAB interest rates are also defined, with Rupiah rates set at 60 basis points above and US Dollar rates at 45 basis points below the respective weighted average morning overnight rates at JIBOR member banks. These provisions come into force on August 30, 2004, and apply to all commercial banks in Indonesia.
